Anyone who says “the #FreedomConvoy was mostly peaceful, but spiraled out of control" is a liar. That is coming from the MOFOs who sabotaged us. Do not let them get away with it. It was peaceful until the day the cops brought violence. #HonkHonk

It's more than mere distrust
When the institutions and media are intentionally deceptive, target and deplatform people for reasonable inquiries, the response reciprocal extremism and the new frame is to see everything as malicious and deceptive. They see the institutions and media as actual evil a frame they have earned.
